A comunicarlo è stata la Casa Bianca in una nota
Jake Sullivan, consigliere per la sicurezza americana, ha avuto un incontro a Vienna con il capo della politica estera del partito comunista cinese, Wang Yi. A riferirlo è la Casa Bianca.
I due avrebbero avuto avuto una discussione “franca, sostanziale e costruttiva” su questioni che riguardano le relazioni bilaterali tra gli Stati Uniti e la Cina, sulla sicurezza globale e regionale, sulla guerra della Russia contro l’Ucraina e sullo stretto di Taiwan.
La Casa Bianca ci tiene a sottolineare come quest’incontro rientri negli sforzi in corso per tenere aperto il dialogo con Pechino in base agli impegni presi da Joe Biden e Xi Jinping a Bali lo scorso novembre.
